Established in 1922 the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home has been serving the families in the tri-state area of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. For three generations the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home has prided itself on providing quality services.

The original Hertnick Funeral Home founded by John W. Hertnick was located on Avenue F in North Weirton.

Mr. Hertnick moved his funeral business to its present location in 1938. The three story brick structure designed along English architectural lines opened in 1938, and was touted as one of the most elaborately furnished and equipped buildings of its time in the Ohio Valley.

In the 1960's Mr. Hertnick was joined by his Daughter J. Patricia and his son in-law Charles renaming the funeral home the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home.

Today the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home is in its 3rd generation of being family owned and operated. John C. Greco and his staff are known throughout the Ohio Valley for their excellence in funeral service.
