Bertha Julian, 94, of Weirton, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in the Brightwood Nursing Home, Follansbee, WV. She was born August 18, 1922 in Follansbee WV, a daughter of the late John and Anna Lupinetti. She was also preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Emilio R. "Hambone" Julian in 2009; 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Mrs. Julian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
A homemaker, Bertha cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed cheering on her Pittsburgh Pirates, and going to Mountaineer Racetrack Resort and Casino.
Bertha is survived by her two sons, Louis Joseph (Elaine) Julian of Cleona, PA and Robert David "Bobby" (Mary Ruth) Julian of Weirton; daughter Diane (Robert Cates) of Pittsburgh, PA; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Jo and Bobbi Jo Julian and Gina (James) Artman; and 2 great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kelsey Artman.
Private visitation and services will be held for her family.
Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
