Carl E. Hinchee

Carl E. Hinchee, 80, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Life Line Hospital, Wintersville. Born November 10, 1937, he was a son of Olive (Saffel) Hinchee and the late James Hinchee. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marjorie (Matchett) Hinchee; sons Charles and Carl Hinchee; grandson Joshua Mackey and brother Dean Hinchee.
Carl retired from Weirton Steel after 44 years of working in the strip steel.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons James (Sherry) Hinchee of Florida and David Hinchee of Wheeling; daughters Teresa (Doug) Mackey of Weirton and Diane Tingler of Florida; grandchildren Daniel Mackey, Matthew Hinchee, Amanda (Charles) Lanaham, Melissa (Brian) Walters and Mary (Arthur) Johnson; nine great-grandchildren and brothers Robert, Gary (Joyce) and Richard Hinchee.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, where funeral services will be held at 11am Friday. Pastor Drew Bush will officiate.
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
