Obituary for Cynthia L. Caleffie

Cynthia Lucille Caleffie, 59, of Cuddy, PA, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her home.

She was born April 14, 1958, in Weirton, daughter of Dolphus Barnhart, Sr. of Colliers, WV and the late Lena Dodd Barnhart in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her son, Steven Caleffie in 1998, and brother, Dolphus Barnhart, Jr. at birth.

She was a member of Cecil American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, boating and traveling to the beach.

She worked as a Caregiver at numerous nursing homes including Friendship Village, Sunrise Assisted Living, Asbury Heights and Manor Care-McMurray. She also worked at All Clad Manufacturing.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her companion, Bob Mariani of Cuddy; daughter, Adrianne (Dave) Thompson; three grandchildren, Vaughn, Nolan and Dax Thompson all of Surprise, AZ; sister, Faith (Larry) Spencer of Weirton; brother, Paul (Kim) Barnhart of Gratiot, OH, many nieces and nephews, and her precious dog, Pebbles.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt. 50) Cecil, PA and 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where services will be held 11 AM Monday. Pastor Larry Garrison will officiate. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Florence, PA.
