Edward Raymond Majoris, 87, of Weirton, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born August 2, 1930 in Barnesboro, PA, a son of the late Michael and Cathryn Keblish Majoris. He was also proceeded in death by his brothers John, Joseph, Michael and Andrew Majoris and sister Mary Klimack. Edward loved and served his country as a proud veteran of the US Navy. With an unforgettable personality, his humor, orneriness, and compassion with action for anyone in need touched the lives of family, friends and even strangers. He would cross off the calendar days until hunting season, and regardless of the weather or his health, he could be found in the woods appreciating God’s landscape. When not hunting or fishing, he would be home with his devoted wife, and their hospitality welcomed all inside, where he listened to polka music, watched the Steelers/Pens games or played cards. With 45 years of service, Edward retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the VFW 2716. Edward will be missed greatly, and is survived by his loving wife Mary Caiazza Majoris; sons Edward J. Majoris and Mark Majoris; daughters Patricia (Terry) Knight all of Weirton, Lisa (Mike) Martin of Bloomingdale, OH and Karen (Jeff) Garrison of Steubenville, OH; brother Frank Majoris; sister Irene Delasko and grandchildren Caleb Knight, Abigail Garrison, Simeon Garrison, Nathan Majoris and Emily Martin. Visitation will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Larry Dorsch officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton with military services being conducted. Memorial donations may be made to Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV 26062.   4. Dearest family, I am so sorry for your loss! May God grant you the comfort and peace that only He can give! I remember how Ed loved his Polka music and was quick witted. I smile when I recall how he taught Patty and I how to ‘make change’ when we landed our first job! You will be missed, Dear Ed…until that day we see you againwhere there will be “no more death or mourning or crying or pain” and we all celebrate together Jesus’ gift of eternal life!
