Larry Russell Cain, 51, of Colliers, WV, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at his home. He was born August 16, 1965 in Weirton, a son of Margaret (Harold) Cain Craft of Weirton and the late Larry Russell Terry of Steubenville. Larry was a firefighter for Weirton Steel. He was a super heavy weight boxer, loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of the Weirton Golden Gloves. In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his son Brandon May of Weirton; daughters Shyla Jenkins of Columbus, OH and Amber Cain of Atlanta, GA; brother Gary Cato of Pensacola, FL; sister Nicole (Charles) Sims of Weirton; step-brothers Rodney and Marvin Carter and step-sister Tishawana Terry, all of Wheeling and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 PM until the 8:00 PM Memorial Service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate. A benefit dinner for Larry will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 4-7PM at the Weirton VFW on Main St.

Everytime you were around there were always smiles and laughs. You were a great guy and will be missed dearly by many. Rest easy brother!!

  17. I grew up with Larry and his family we were next door neighbors way back when , had tons of fun growing up together he was always respectfull twards others especially to his elders. I often think back how we all would just walk to the river and spend the day just fishing or get into something else ,miss those days. Until we meet again

  22. Larry will be missed… My daughter Tracie loved him and called him dad he was a very positive father figure for her and he led her to a better path of life. When I was going thru a very bad time in my life he was always there. I have many very happy memories with this man.. My condolences to his family I am very proud to say he was a friend and I’m honored to have the time I was blessed to have with him.

When his mother went to work, and he was always listening to me. He was a good kid . We was talking about this before he got sick and laugh, and laughed about it.
