Mary Rose Orecchio

Mary Rose Orecchio, 82, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born April18, 1936 in Weirton, WV, Mary was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Pirraglia) Orecchio.
After graduating from Weir High School, Mary went to work for the C&P Telephone Company as an operator and retired after 38 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Senior Choir as well as a former member of the Steubenville Chorale Society, the Weirton Women’s Club, and a volunteer at the Weirton Medical Center.
Mary is survived by her 3 sisters; Minnie Orecchio Pazich of Weirton, Mary Ann Orecchio of Arlington, VA, and Janet Orecchio Miller (Arthur) of Weirton; 1 brother, John Orecchio of Owings, MD; 3 nieces and 1 nephew; 5 great nieces and 4 great nephews; 2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.
A memorial service will be held 11AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 229 California Ave, Weirton, WV 26062.
