Raymond Lewis Maxson, 77, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the Weirton Medical Center. He was born August 25, 1939 in Doddridge County, WV, a son of the late Garcia and Virgie Blanch Knopp Maxson. He was also preceded in death by his sister Loretta P. Reed.
Raymond is survived by his niece Panda Reed, nephew William Reed and great nephew Tony Reed all of Weirton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9am until the 11am funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pastor Marlin Hawley will officiate. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery, Paris, PA.
Absent from the body is present with the Lord, to Panda, my friend from childhood, God Bless you & your family & May Heaven shine upon you.
