Rhett Briggs

Leverette (Rhett) Boyd Briggs, 54, of Brooksville, FL, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Medical Center of Trinity. He was born April 5, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He worked for Home Depot M.E.T. Team for 21 years. For 20 years, while living in Weirton, he worked at Christy’s and Ronnie’s Fruit Market with his father. He is survived by his father and step-mother Ronnie and Sandi Briggs of New Cumberland, WV, his wife Elizabeth Mossgrove Briggs, daughter Madison, step-son and two step-daughters and nine grandchildren of Brooksville. Rhett is also survived by his sister Christy Briggs of Pittsburgh, PA; step-sister Tara Cork; step-brother Eric Brown and three step-nephews of Weirton. A memorial service will be held September 1, 2018 at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brooksville, FL. Florida arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville.
