robert rusinovich
Robert Alan Rusinovich, 76, of Weirton passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville. Born March 30, 1941 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Joe and Ann (Simon) Rusinovich. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters Joanne Jagela and Rosemary Connell. Robert worked as a Union brick layer for Local #11. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, cutting wood, wine making and tending to his garden, especially his delicious tomatoes, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara Rusinovich; three daughters Lisa (Jim) Barnabei of New Jersey, Michele Stutz of Columbus and Bobbi Jo (James) Brusco of New Jersey; grandchildren Isabella and Olivia Barnabei, Austin, Coleman and Finn Stutz and Matthew and Victoria Brusco. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Dennis Schuelkens, Jr., and Fr. Walter Jagela, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Honor Guard and the U.S. Army.
