One of my fondest memories remains him playing the ghost of Jacob Marley to my Scrooge! Although we moved to North Carolina, I still thought of Roger often. He will be surely missed by me and many others.

  9. To the Van Horn Family,

Remembering Roger from our WSC days. Always so kind and friendly to all of us at the G.O. He grew pots of English Ivy for me (being the master gardener he was). The garden beds have been thriving for almost 25 years! May you keep his loving memories alive in your heart until you one day meet again. God Bless.

  11. I remember Roger when he was 12 years old. I was playground teacher during the Summer of 1962 at Liberty Playground in Weirton. He seemed to enjoy the other children and activities that the playground had to offer. He was a good kid and from what I understand turned out to be a wonderful human being. He is gone too soon.
