Wilma Lawver

Wilma Lawver, 72, of Colliers, WV, passed away Friday, July 07, 2017 at her daughter’s home. She was born January 12, 1945 in Saint Mary’s, WV, a daughter of the late Clifford and Edna Mary Bennett Kimball. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl Lawver on May 5, 2015 and a brother, Bobby Kimball. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed tending to her garden. Most of all, Wilma cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Honey”. Wilma is survived by her son Steven (Cindy) Lawver of Mingo Junction, OH; daughter Kimberly (Meir) Dadoush; sisters Janet Cessna and Loretta Forester all of Colliers; grandchildren Stephanie (Chuck) Owens, Mara Lawver, Jessica Byers, Alyssa (Cody) Chapman, Sierra Sesto, Taylor Sesto, Michael Dadoush, and Braylynn Clark; great-grandchildren Shawn Sevens, Brennen Riggs, Ella Chapman, Elizabeth May, Emily Baker, Reese Owens, Brandon Owens and Sophie Chapman. Visitation will be held Sunday 4-8 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 1 PM on Monday. Pastor M. R. Hawley will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Colliers.
