William W. Wolfe

William W. Wolfe, 91, of Elloree, South Carolina, formerly of Weirton passed away at his home with his sons by his side September 28, 2018. Born November 7, 1926 he was a son of the late Jacob and Genevieve Keeney Wolfe. William was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Helen Joan Herron in 1998; sister Shirley Bloom; grandson David L. Wolfe and close friend Camilla Schriner. He is survived by his brother Russel (Marlene) Wolfe of California; sister Donna Godina of Utah; sons David L. (Cathy) Wolfe of Wellsburg; William W. (Kathy) Wolfe II of Weirton and Timothy Wolfe of Elloree, SC. cousin Lola McDaniel; sister-in-law Rebecca (Tim) Garret; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Christian by faith, William retired from Weirton Steel as a foreman in the machine shop. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Per William’s request, his body was donated to the MUSC’s Gift of Body program. No services are planned at this time.
