Betty Louise Ford

Betty Louise (Pifer) Ford, 81, of Weirton passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Weirton Medical Center. Born December 4, 1936 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Charles Pifer and Audrey (Burdette) Pifer. She was also preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Ford.
Betty graduated from Weir High in 1955. She was a former C & P Telephone operator and supervisor. She was a very active member of the Northside Church of God where she was a song and YPE leader and Sunday School teacher. She was also the previous lady’s ministry president. In recent years, Betty had been attending the New Life Church.
She is survived by her daughter Shelly (Ken) Sparks; son William “Bill” Ford both of Weirton; two grandsons James and Eric Noel and two great-granddaughters Gabrielle and Elliana Noel.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Curtis Moser, Pastor Jason Romine, Pastor Dave Parker and Pastor Bob Mazeroski will officiate.
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.

Mrs. Ford, I always looked forward to seeing you come in the store, we would always talk about people, but, mostly Billy. when I left the store you were one of the special people I missed the most. Don’t worry about Billy, I will always be here for him whenever he needs me. I will cherish the beautiful pin you gave me so long ago. You will always have a special place in my heart. Love you.
