Bo Corwin, of Florence, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 18, 2018 embraced by his wife Mary Beth and son Brian. He was 71. Born November 8, 1946 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Chester Warren and Kathryn Theresa (Valelle) Corwin, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sister Bertha Lou “Sis” Corwin. Bo attended West Virginia University and Bethany College where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. He was president and co-owner of Corwin Jeep in Hickory, PA, which was the “world’s oldest jeep dealership.” He also co- owned West Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Burgettstown, PA, both were five- star dealerships. Bo was a member of the PA Auto Association and the National Auto Dealers Association as well as serving on the Dodge Dealer Council. He was one of the founding members of the Washington County 4x4’s, a four wheel drive club that grew to be one of the largest clubs in the East Coast 4WD Association, where he held the title of president in its earlier years. In addition to winning many races in the East Coast 4WD Association, he won class 3 in the 1976 Memorial Day 100 at Lake Geneva, which at the time was one of the largest off road races in the mid- west. An avid golfer, Bo began his passion for golf at Fort Cherry Golf Club now known as Cherry Hills Country Club. He was also a long- time member of the Williams Country Club, Weirton, WV, where he also served on the board of directors. He is survived by his wife Mary Beth Mascaro Corwin whom he married on September 24, 1996; son Brian David Corwin of Bethany, WV; brother James V. Corwin of Mercer, PA; mother-in-law Fran Mascaro; sister in law Michelle Mascaro and Darlene Corwin; nieces Gianna and Maresa Hrapchak and Connie Weaver and nephews Luke Hrapchak, Brandon (Zarina) Corwin and Ronald and Donald Carter. Bo was a man that always gave more of himself than he ever had to, and expected nothing in return. He truly was a gentleman and left his mark on all of us. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 PM and Monday from 10 AM until 12 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A celebration of Bo’s life will be celebrated at 12 noon on Monday at the funeral home. Bo’s close friends and family will preside at the service. Private interment will take place at Mt.
