john guglielmo
John P. Guglielmo, 79, of Weirton died unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018. Born on August 19, 1938, in Weirton, WV, John was a son of the late Antonio and Helen S. Ruffolo Guglielmo. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Sam Guglielmo. John retired after 38 ½ years with Weirton Steel, where he worked as a brakeman on the railroad, and before his retirement, a truck driver in the trucking department. After retiring from the mill, John remained active with his rental properties. When he was not working, John found enjoyment in watching and investing in the stock market. But nothing compares to the enjoyment he had spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Bethany. John loved to dance. He and his wife of 53 years spent many years dancing, since they first laid eyes on each other, at a Bobby Vinton Dance, in the1960’s. John will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends. John is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Ighnat) Guglielmo; his loving daughter and son in law, Roxanne and Wayne Berry; his special granddaughter, Bethany Berry; and his brother, Eugene “Gino” Guglielmo all of Weirton, WV. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where memorial services will be conducted at 8 PM. Rev. Dr. Ed Rudiger will preside.
