  3. Uncle Amel was truly a man of integrity and full of compassionate. A few weeks ago I yet again witnessed his care and concern. After months of him being in the hospital and within moments of sitting next to him in his hospital room he gently looked at me and asked me how I was doing! I was humbled by his tenderness.

I believe God has his hand on him now and he will be watching out for all of us. God bless him and God bless you Aunt Carolyne. He was a fine man, husband and father. He will certainly be missed by many. ❤️🙏👼

  4. FUNNY, AS WE GET OLDER WE REMEMBER THINGS. WE LIVED ON A FARM IN THE Y OF THE ROAD GLEN ROBINS OR RAYLAND. RODE THE BUS WITH AMEL SEVERAL YEARS. NEVER DID FORGET THE MORNING AFTER THEIR BARN BURNT DOWN. AMEL GOT ON THE BUS WITH BANDAGES OVER THE BURNS HE GOT TRYING TO SAVE THE COWS AND HORSES THAT WERE IN THE BURNING BARN. 5. Wow. What can be said about Uncle Amel. When I think of him I think of strength. What a man. What a human being. When faced with trials his glass was always 1/2 full. He was not a complainer. He lost his leg for heavens sake. It wasn’t that long and he was up fixing the roof. He got burned all over trying to save someone at work. He not only was a man with nine lives. He loved his wife , children and grandchildren with a passion. He always had a smile for me and a kind word. I am so disappointed that I did not get the chance to tell him how I felt about him. You will be missed. My family loved and respected you. I am so great full for being a Christian. For my hope is that we will see you again. I love you Uncle Amel. I love you Aunt Carolyn with ALL my heart. Love, Donna Marino DeCarolis
