Carole Jean Osvath Woods

Carole Jean Osvath Woods, 64, of Weirton passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born June 2, 1940 she is the daughter of Elizabeth Osvath of Weirton and the late William Osvath. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by an infant son, David Wayne Woods. Carole retired from Healthways, Inc. in Weirton where she served as Human Resource Director. As a member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Alpha Chi Chapter, she held many offices, including President. Carole was also instrumental and an active volunteer in the Weirton International Food and Arts Festival and a Junior Achievement Advisor. In addition to her mother, Carole is survived by her sisters Linda Osvath of Weirton and Evelyn Brown and her husband, Lake, of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves behind many friends and neighbors. Committal services will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Thursday, June 17 at 11:00AM. Reverend William Stout will preside. Arrangements are under the direction of the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
