robert merryman

Robert Eugene Merryman, Jr., 47 of Joffre, PA, affectionately known as Bobby to his family and friends, was taken from us all too soon due to a motor vehicle accident on August 23, 2023.

Born in Washington, PA on October 20, 1975, Bobby’s vibrant spirit illuminated the lives of those around him for 47 years.

Bobby was born to Robert Eugene Merryman, Sr., and the late Margaret Diamond Merryman. He grew up alongside his siblings, sharing in the joys and challenges of life. A graduate of West Allegheny High School, Bobby made a name for himself as a dedicated wrestler, displaying his determination and commitment on the mat.

Following his high school graduation, Bobby pursued his passion for culinary arts, attending Culinary Arts School. Despite his culinary aspirations, Bobby found his true calling as a handyman.

Bobby’s legacy lives on through the memories he shared with his loved ones. He is survived by his father, Robert Eugene Merryman, Sr.(Denise); his siblings, William “Bill” Merryman (Kayla) and Cassy Jo Merryman (Eric).

He leaves behind his fiancée, Jessica Harris, who stood by his side through thick and thin, offering unwavering support and companionship. He also leaves behind his children, Fantasia, Victoria, Christopher, Isabel, Ayden, Rebecca, Tristan, and Mikiya. He is also survived by his grandson, Harlan Lance

As we mourn the loss of Bobby, let us also celebrate the vibrant life he led. May his memory serve as a reminder to cherish our time with loved ones and to hold them close in our hearts. Though he is no longer physically with us, Bobby’s spirit will forever live on in the stories during his time on this earth.

Bobby will be cremated and laid to rest with his mother.

A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be held at a future date in time. In the meantime, please share stories at www.grecohertnick.com

  6. As everyone sits here and says how you will be dearly missed. This is the first time in my life I feel peace knowing you are not putting yourself or others in harms way. As I never wished death upon you, I’m glad you can now be the most pure version of yourself. The best version to meet, the one you always tried to be but failed due to drugs and addiction. Weather it be your fault or a shitty past none of that matters now. I pray that anyone who loves you reads this and gets clean does the right thing and moves forward honoring your memory making better decisions when you lacked the ability to do so. I will continue to build bonds with the siblings you blessed us all with. I pray they all can find peace in their hearts for lives they endured due to your decisions. I pray they never become anything like you, I pray they all strive to be like anyone but you. As I’m sure there are plenty of amazing things about you its unfortunate that your children didn’t get to experience just that. I pray you are at peace and we can all move forward with less hate in our hearts knowing we will meet the best version of you one day and be at peace together. Until that day fly high. I’m sorry I can’t say you’ll be dearly missed as I never knew you to miss you. 🙏

    • I couldn’t agree more sister. I feel the same and if you need anything I will always be here for anyone one of my siblings.I love you all

  7. Candle Selection 6Rest in peace Bobby. The struggle is now over.

  8. Well Bobby, you were always an abusive individual, loved to beat and put the boots to women and anyone else you could.

On Thanksgiving I beat your sorry ass for punching and slapping my daughter, the mother of your children.

You were always worm, a worthless bit of scum from Satan himself. The world is a much, much, better place with you not in it. You had no respect for anyone, thought nothing of stealing anything you could, then lying when you got caught. Even in the end you took innocents with you. You had the courage of a slug. The wisdom of roadkill, and I am only sorry that your life did not end with my hands around your throat, and your face blue.

The day you got beat down and the Findlay cops showed up, I asked them, “Can’t I just go ahead and put him out of his misery and you charge me with exterminating without a license?

They responded, “God I wish we could!” That is how you were thought of in your community. You brought child after child into this world, supporting none of them…ever. Your greatest attribute was being able to lie and have folks believe you, until you revealed your true colours.

Unlike others who have played nice in the sandbox, I refuse to tell lies about you being nice. It never happened. You thought with your groin, didn’t care about anyone but yourself and where your next high was going to come from, even if you had to lie, cheat, and steal to get it.

The list of innocents you hurt is lengthy~

I will end here, restating that I am glad you are gone from the world of the living.

    Have a nice eternity buddy!
