On April 14, 2026, Debra Marlene Eshbaugh gracefully transitioned from this life to the next, surrounded by her loving family at Allegheny General Hospital.

Debra was born on November 12, 1952, in Lancaster, Ohio, she embraced life with an open heart and unwavering faith.

Debra was a daughter of Gayle and Carol Stonebrener King, one of five cherished siblings who shared countless memories of laughter and support. A graduate of UNLV, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and dedicated many years to teaching in Esmerelda County, Nevada.

On January 12, 1989, she celebrated a beautiful union of marriage with her husband Joseph Eshbaugh in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah.

Debra’s family describes her as a true giver, always putting others before herself, embodying selflessness and compassion.

A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wintersville, Ohio, she nourished her faith with direction from daily scripture.

In her free time, Debra immersed herself in the world of soap operas, relishing every episode. She found joy in dining out, especially savoring ribs at DJ’s and catfish at Cracker Barrel. A true movie enthusiast, she enjoyed the cinema experience, sharing the joy of films with her loved ones. Recently, she discovered a new passion for connecting with people through DoorDash deliveries, making new friends along the way.

Her love for family was immeasurable, as she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, lighting up their lives with her affection. A daily Yahtzee player, she embraced both wins and losses with her characteristic humor.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Joseph of Weirton, sons Patrick Nicol of Toole, Utah, and Joshua Nicol of New Cumberland, WV, daughter Angela Dodd of Big Spring, Texas, brother John Rogers, sisters Corina Ovington, Malani Amado, and Kelly Wolfe, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 21, from 10 -11 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 437 Powells Road, Wintersville, OH, 43953, where Debra’s funeral service will be held at 11 am.

Bishop David Debusca will officiate.

Burial will be in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
