kellie wade

Kellie Ann Wade, 65, of Weirton, passed away on May 28, 2026, at Weirton Medical Center. Born on September 5, 1960, she was the daughter of Shirley Kearns and her stepfather, Dearl “Butch” Kearns.

Kellie grew up in Wellsburg and was a graduate of Brooke High School, Class of 1978. After high school, she spent many years working as a retail clerk for various stores.

Kellie had a kind heart and often donated to the children’s hospital, a cause she cared deeply about.

On August 16, 2010, Kellie married the love of her life and her best friend, Mitch Wade. Their marriage was filled with laughter, and a bond so special that Kellie kept track of every single day they shared. By May 28, 2026, they had spent 5,764 days together. Many of their happiest moments were spent boating at Salt Fork State Park, where Kellie found peace and joy on the water with Mitch by her side.

Kellie was a woman full of personality, short, funny, and blessed with a sharp sense of humor. She was a devoted “Mimi” to her grandchildren, cheering from the sidelines at little league baseball and basketball games.

She also found joy in her favorite shows, never missing an episode of Yellowstone, Dutton Ranch, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med. At home, she loved indulging in Domino’s Pizza and was famous among family and friends for her award-winning lasagna and her beloved taco dip.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband Mitch, Kellie will be remembered with love by her son, Darrell Thomas Eastham III; her stepson, Nicholas Patrick Wade; her brother, Mark Mitchell (Michelle); her sisters, Lori Mitchell and stepsister, Holly Deemer (John); her grandchildren: Jaylinn, Thomas “Bub,” and Lexie Eastham; her step-grandchild, Conner David Wade; nephews Brandon, Josh, Justin, and Kolby; and nieces Kendra and Brittney.

A private visitation will be held at the request of the family.

Kellie’s request for cremation will be honored.

She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory.
