A graduate of Weir High School in 1989, Richie dedicated his life to hard work and is currently employed as a laborer at Metsch Refractories Inc. for twenty-one years. His commitment to his job was only rivaled by his passion for hunting, fishing, and riding his side by side with family and friends.

Richie was an amazing outdoorsman who found joy in sharing his passions with others, especially with his daughter Abbey. His role as a mentor to his two adored nephews, James and Joseph, showcased his vibrant spirit and boundless generosity. Known for his humility and willingness to help anyone in need,

Richie had a unique gift for connecting with others, often identifying them by nicknames that reflected his affection.

Richie always had a purpose in life; knowing his diligence, he maintained discipline through scouting, achieving the highest honor, Eagle Scout.

A Catholic by faith, Richie found solace in his faith and cherished moments spent tailgating at Steelers games, where camaraderie and laughter filled the air.
