Linda Elaine Clark, 74, of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1952, in Steubenville, Ohio, Linda was one of five daughters born to the late Arthur “Bud” and Doris Profitt DeLong. A 1970 graduate of Brooke High School, Linda lived a life defined by perseverance, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family.

One of Linda’s greatest accomplishments came later in life when she fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. At the age of 50, she returned to school, earned her nursing degree, and spent the next 24 years caring for others. Her nursing career took her across the United States, where she touched countless lives with her knowledge, kindness, and dedication.

Linda embraced life with an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad, creating memories wherever her journeys took her. She loved listening to country music, found comfort in her faith, and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother, and she never missed an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and milestones of her grandchildren. Linda also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Brody and Brandy, who brought her endless companionship and happiness.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved son, Bryan Clark, on December 19, 2024.

She will be remembered with love by her husband, Howard Clark, whom she married on March 15, 2007; her son, Kris (Stacey) Lawson; her daughters, Heather (Scott) Allen and Brianne (Dion) DiBacco; her grandchildren, Courtney (Gabe) Long and Mattie Lawson; and her sisters, ValJean DeLong, Carol Kinney, Lee DeLong, and Donna DeLong.

Friends and family will be welcomed on Wednesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, from 12 Noon. until the time of her funeral services at 1:00 PM at the funeral home All are welcome..

Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
