leonard enrietti

Leonard Michael Enrietti passed away peacefully at Valley Hospice Care Center North on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Born on March 13, 1936, Leonard was a son of Lawrence J. and Bruna Zanoli Enrietti, and he enjoyed a wonderful life as one of three siblings.

After graduating from Weir High School in 1954, Leonard dedicated thirty-nine years of his life working as a pipe fitter at Weirton Steel.

In a beautiful love story, Leonard married Patricia Barezinsky on April 27, 1957. Together, they created a joyful life full of love, dance, and adventure. Leonard loved spending time boating at the Weirton Marina, and he was an active member of the Paris Sportsman Club. Whether it was jitterbugging, dancing polkas, or sharing slow dances with Patty, music and movement were a cherished part of their lives.

Leonard also loved to travel, exploring places like Hawaii, the Bahamas, and Las Vegas, always with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm. He took great pride in his grandchildren and closely followed their journeys, supporting them every step of the way as they forged their own paths.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brother Laurence Enrietti and sister Leatrice Enrietti.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patty, whom he spent sixty-nine memorable years with; son Michael (Marilyn) Enrietti and daughter Karen (George) Lengyel, all of Weirton; grandchildren Lena (Keith) Beadling Stuckeman, Corey (Christine) Enrietti, Wesley (Shana) Lengyel, Cody (Kinsey) Enrietti; great-grandchildren Leo and Maeve Beadling, Norrin Stuckeman, Braelynn, Knox, and Natalie Enrietti and Savanna Lengyel.

Friends can visit Leonard’s family on Thursday, August 20, from 10 am until the time of his 12 pm Liturgy of the Word Service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. 26062.

  4. Candle Selection 7To the family of Leonard Enrietti
I’m so sorry to hear about the death of Leonard.
I worked with him in the Sheet Mill. He was a Pipe Fitter, AND I was a Production Clerk, on one of the Galvanizing Lines. Whenever he was done doing a job, if he had time, him and Dave Mojo would stop and have coffee with me.
ALWAYS REMEMBER… Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, BUT Love leaves memories that no one can steal. God Bless
I have to say, since I ONLY saw him in the mill, that is a wonderful picture of him
