David Alan Bradley, 83, of Weirton, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at Weirton Medical Center.
David was born in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Ralston) Bradley. He was a 1961 graduate of Madonna High School, where he played baseball and met his wife, Carolyn (Majoris) Bradley. They met in class when they were just 16 years old and later married on August 7, 1965. Together, they shared 61 years of marriage.
Following high school, David spent six months on active duty and continued to serve for six years with the Army Reserves. He then began a dedicated career in the print shop at Weirton Steel.
David cherished the simple things in life. He had a love for baseball and softball, which he enjoyed playing for many years. He also dedicated his time to coaching Little League baseball, where he shared his love of the game with generations of young players. He was an unwavering fan of both the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins.
David also found great joy in nature and spending time with his beloved dogs.
His family will remember David as a humble and kind man who loved his family with his whole heart. He was selfless, brave, and never one to complain or speak negatively. David appreciated every moment of life and was grateful for all that God had given him.
He was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church of Weirton.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be remembered with love by his wife, Carolyn (Majoris) Bradley; his sons, Mark David Bradley (Brandy Puskarich-Bradley) and Jeffrey Alan (Carol) Bradley; his daughter, Laura Lynn (Rodney) Boniti; his grandchildren, Jonathan Llewellyn, Corey David (Carrie) Bradley, Megan Lynn Boniti, and Rachel Nicole Boniti; his great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Madalyn, and Matthew Llewellyn; his brother, Denis Bradley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Weirton on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph the Worker Church.

So very sad to read of ‘Mr. Bradly’s’ passing. I have so many fond memories of him being outside, playing ball in the side yard with us! He taught me how to swing a bat and when! He and ‘Mrs. Bradley’ are at the center of so many happy childhood memories for me and all of the kids on the street. Sorry for the countless messes you’ve must have cleaned up behind our antics. I never heard either of you complain about it and I very much appreciate that now. I’m praying that our Heavenly Father sends the Holy Spirit to fill you with great peace and understanding. Jesus please fill the void with beautiful memories and the joy of knowing we will all meet again. 🙏🏻.
