cecilia fuscardo

Cecilia Ann “Toolie” Fuscardo, 92, of Weirton, WV, passed away on April 15, 2024, at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born in Steubenville, OH, on July 7, 1931, she was the youngest of four children born to Walter and Mary Warzinski Lemsky, Sr. She graduated from Steubenville Central High School.

On December 12, 1952, she married Anthony Joseph Fuscardo, Sr., together they embarked on a life filled with love and family. Cecilia and Anthony were blessed with a son and two daughters, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Cecilia was lovingly known as “Toolie” to her friends and family, a name that reflected her unique vibrant spirit. She was revered as a second mother by many, always ready to extend her warmth and kindness. Her giving nature was paralleled only by her deep religious faith.

Cecilia’s legacy is one of love, faith, and resilience. She taught us the value of prayer, the importance of family, and the joy of living life with open arms. Her memory will forever be a beacon of love and kindness in the hearts of those she touched.

In addition to her parents, Toolie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Joseph Fuscardo, Sr.; her sister, Irene Cummings, and her two brothers, Raymond Lemsky and Walter “Sid” Lemsky, Jr.

She will be remembered with love by her son, Anthony J. “Tony”Fuscardo, Jr. (Toni); her daughters, Roseann Llewellyn (Steven) and Vickie Chappell (Ken Smith); her four grandchildren, Leslie Ann Fuscardo (Kyle Hood), Chad Chappell (Kara) , Anthony J. “T.J. “ Fuscardo, III (P.J.), and Kristin Pinti; and five great grandchildren, Cole Jacob, Joey, Charlie, Caleb and Cody.

Per Cecilia’s request her funeral services will be private.

Toolie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Saint Paul’s Cemetery.

Rest in peace, dear Toolie. Your spirit will continue to guide us, just as your prayers always have.
