Kristi Raye Chapman

Kristi Raye Chapman, 40, of Steubenville, OH passed away on October 7, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic, with her fiancé Michael R. Thomas, Sr at her side.

Kristi was born in Weirton, WV the daughter of the late Ray and Roxanne DiGiacomo Chapman.

She grew up in Weirton and was a graduate of Weir High School and attended West Virginia Northern Community College.

Kristi was an avid reader who could often be found lost in a good book. She loved the water especially the beaches of South Carolina. Music, and concerts were among her favorite experiences. Kristi had a creative spirit and a gift for crafting. Above all, Kristi loved and treasured her children, Michael Redwood Thomas, Jr. and Margot Raye Thomas of Steubenville, and her daughter Mia Roxanna Warner of New Cumberland, WV.

In addition to her children, Kristi leaves behind her fiancé, Michael R. Thomas, Sr.; her aunts, Lucy Russell (Aunt Lu), with whom she shared a special bond, Andria (David) Post, and Roseanne (Paul) Pitocco, her many cousins and special friends who were like family to her.

Funeral arrangements are being provided by the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home. Services will be private.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cleveland Clinic
and Trinity West for the compassionate care and kindness they showed Kristi and her family during her time of need.

Kristi Rae Chapman will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
