  6. Melissa /Cheryl Scott says:

Our deepest condolences 🙏 Pat was always so nice to me when I was a kid & I loved hanging out at her house & she always listened to whatever i wanted to talk about. She was so funny too! I loved her sense of humor . I apologize for being late with this. I don’t get a paper anymore or go on Facebook much) RIP Pat

  7. I’m so so very sorry Ric and Holli. ♥️♥️. Im not a cousin that many of my cousins have ever met except once or twice Tina and Theresa, Aunt Frans twins and I did meet you Holli and you Ric (and some of my cousins) one year at a reunion long ago. I saw Aunt Pat and you Ric when you both came to see my dad, Kenny, and he talked about that visit so many times! He said Aunt Pat was dynamite also and he laughed when he told me and my brother about how she what she would say! I have always wished that I knew my aunts and uncles and my cousins as I grew up, when time seemed to move slower, some say ‘the good ole days’, and now it’s too late to catch up 😢
I wish I could have been there for you Ric and Holli, just to hug you both, I doubt I would know what to say, except I loved Aunt Pat, even tho I wasn’t able to know her. I can say also for my dad Kenny Lee, that he loved her and every single one of his brothers and sisters and grandma and grandpa with all his heart. The day Aunt Pat died was the exact day dad was found almost dead in the old camper he loved. We did not know that at first but later, My brother Jason said it’s Aunt Pat, she’s passed, and the same day the camper called us abt dad, can you believe that? The last two of the 14 children would have died that same day, Aunt Pat and dad! A camper called and Jason and my husband drove from Summerfield to get dad to a good Dr here in our area near Ocala.
He lived. 🥹 I will add that story at some point to my tree on Ancestry, but for now I send love to you Holli and to you Ric, because I know you loved your mom as I love my dad I’m sorry for all the horrible pain you felt and the pain of heart you still do. I’m so glad I ran onto this so I could write you two… and if by chance any of my other cousins see this, pls know I love you ‘all’ and I sincerely miss growing up around you! Cindy Thompson Hagglund

(my brother would be sending his love also if he was here with me now Jason Thompson) Dads other 2 children, our sisters have died young 22 yrs old and 35 yrs old – Sylvia Thompson, Tessa Thompson.
