Agnes Hair

Agnes Hair, 86, of Weirton, passed away January 13, 2007 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born May 20, 1920 in Dunbar, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Nell Bigley Callahan. Her husband Charles W. Hair, one infant son, three infant daughters, brothers, William and Lawrence Callahan and sisters Mary M. Brynn, Nell Kronz, and Monica Welsh also preceded her in death.
Agnes was a homemaker and a member of St Paul Roman Catholic Church in Weirton, the Christian Mothers, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the LAOH of Jefferson County OH, and the Weirton Women’s Club where she worked in the Art and Garden Dept.
Agnes is survived by her daughter Joan Riddle of Weirton; sisters, Rita Corcoran of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kathleen Beatty of LeMont Furnace, PA; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. Funeral liturgy with mass will be Tuesday, 10:00AM at St Paul Catholic Church.
Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lions Sight Program or St Paul Catholic Church.
