Alexandra ''Alma'' Frangos

Alexandra “Alma” Frangos, 79, of Weirton, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at home. She was born on July 13, 1924 in Weirton, a daughter of the late Elias Tsapis and Stella Mastromichalis Tsapis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dimitris J. Frangos; one brother, Stanley Tsapis; and two sisters, Callie Tsapis and Mary Karoftis. Alma retired from the Hancock County School System and was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton. Alma is survived by her son, John James Frangos of Palm Harbor, FL, and her sister, Irene Tsapis of Weirton. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Friday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Weirton. Rev. Fr. Terry Linos will preside. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 16, at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Dunedin, FL.
