Alice M. Rhoades

Alice M. Rhoades, 86, of Spring Hill, KS, formerly of Weirton, passed away Thursday October 11, 2007 at Meadowbrook Rehab Hospital in Gardner, KS.
Alice was born on April 14, 1921 in Sapula OK, to Ira Franklin and Nellie (Dean) Becraft.
In addition to her parents, Alice was also preceded in death by her husband Paul F. Rhoades in 1986, her brothers, Edward, Vernon and Alvin Becraft; her sister, Lucille Rhoades.
Alice grew up in Weirton WV, where she married her husband Paul on April 24, 1937. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Club. In 2001, Alice moved to Spring Hill to be with her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Balog Holeczy; her two sons, James Rhoades of Burgettstown, PA and Robert Rhoades of Weirton, WV; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday with Rev. Dana Snodgrass officiating.
Interment will follow at the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV
Memorial contributions may be made to the Olathe Hospice or the Meadowbrook Rehab Hospital.

Jeannie, I was very sorry to hear about your mother, she was a wonderful person. I didn’t hear about her passing until yesterday or I would of been at the funeral home to see her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Mary
