  1. Chuck & Stephanie, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this sad time.

  2. just 2 saturdays ago,i paid what was to be my last visit to alta..i knew alta since 1991 when i be friended bill and i grew close to her family and then rusty later on..it wasnt long that i looked at the travis family as if they were a part of my own family..billy and i would crash at each others homes every weekend, mine on friday and the travis household on saturday..alta would always cook a big dinner on sunday and one of my favorites was her pepperoni spaghetti in which bill had previously reccomended..alta always treated everyone with the utmost kindness reguardless of wether she knew you for 5 minutes or five years..in recent years following bill’s passing in 04,i had spent a great deal of time with alta at her and rusty’s home and like the early years, created more great memories just like when i first met her..it should be noted that one of alta’s most underrated traits was her sence of humor, she randomly would say what was on her mind at various times about different situations over the years which would have me laughing hysterically..i will never forget you alta, and i know we will all see you again when we get there..my deepest prayers and sympathy go out to charles, debbie, wilma, sheila, chuck,h.,december, rusty, and all of her family and friends that will forever hold her memories close to their heart.. frank

  5. I was so sorry to hear of Alta’s passing. We were friends in jr. high and high school, my dad (Horace Ganoe) was a friend of her dad’s, also such a good man. We used to stop in and visit him at Cove Valley Lumber. I had lost contact with Alta after I left Weirton, but she always had a smile for everyone, such a cheerful disposition. She will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Rev. Lee and Marcia (Ganoe) Richards
