  11. To the DiFonzo family and Andy’s many friends: I was saddened to learn of Andy’s death. He was a true joy to be around. My friendship with him emanated from the annual “guys golf trip” to Myrtle Beach every April. As a newcomer to the group 16 years ago, I met Andy the first day and instantly liked him. He made me and the other “Charleston guys” feel that we’d all been friends for years. I will miss the warmth of his personality, his sense of humor, his laughter, his oneriness, and the constant Pitt/WVU banter. He was a wonderful man and the world is a better place because he was here. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
