  6. Dear Family of Zia Angela, Please accept our deepest condolences for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. My mother and I thankfully got to visit with her one last time a couple of months ago. Each time we visited, we were so happy and could not get over how sharp and astute she was, remembering the birthdays of every one of her great-grandchildren! Amazing! My mother enjoyed reminiscing with her about life in Belmonte and the side of the family which they shared. Zia Angela made it a point to tell me how dear my name (“Domenico” or “Minicu”) was to her and how happy she was that we visited her. Once, I brought our 4 year old, Sofia Teresa, as well, and she surprised her by speaking to her in Italian. This made her smile. Zia Angela led a life that was beyond exemplary – made up of only hard work and sacrifice for her family. May God now grant her peace and reward her. And may her remaining family honor her by passing on and therefore keeping alive the memories, stories, and traditions that were her life. Che il Signore l’accolga nell’Eterna Gloria del Paradiso, Domenico e Gina Di Bacco e famiglia e mamma Teresa (Pulice) Di Bacco
