Anna Fodor, age 94, of Weirton, passed away March 16, 2010 at Serra Manor, Grace Cottage, Weirton. Born November 2, 1915 in Langeloth, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Barbara Semenick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Fodor on October 3, 1984 as well as by sisters Pauline Securo, Helen Semenick, Mary Semenick, Lucille Semenick and brothers Michael Semenick, Paul Semenick and Charles Semenick. Anna was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was an avid walker and for years inspired many of her Millsop Center swimming family. Anna is survived by her daughters Diane Johnson (William) of Weirton, Donna Johnson (Barry) of Paris, PA and Carol Levine of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren Deonna Woolard (Joseph) of Lanexa, VA and Jennifer VanGilder (Douglas) of Collegeville, PA; great grandchildren Jillian and Dillon VanGilder and Kevin Woolard. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Vizyak and nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, at the convenience of the family. Heartfelt thanks go to the incredible people at Hospice and all the wonderful "angels" at Grace Cottage. Of course it has been a long time since I seen her but when I would see either one of you I would ask about her. When our mom dies we lose the one person who doesn;t judge us and accepts us as we are. My love and prayers are with you and trust me she has already seen my mom up above lol luv to you peggy

  6. dear diane,donna and carol, i’m sure you won’t remember me. my name is jody. i am helen vuiller’s granddaughter. delores’ daughter. i am so sorry to hear about your mother. she was such a wonderful person. i have fond memories of ann from my childhood. whenever i would visit grandma,i would always have to run up to ann’s house. i knew there would be goodies there. and there always was.within minutes i would be sitting at the table with a bowl of ice cream and a plate of cookies. then i would head down to grandma’s with no room for dinner but a big smile on my face. once again, i am very sorry. may god bless you all and fill your mind with happy memories. love jody

  7. Dear Diane, Donna, and Family, I was so sad to hear about your Mom. She was one of the sweetest, kindest,people I ever knew. I have such fond childhood memories of her. Olivia and I would run up the long front steps around the house to the back steps to go to Weirton Heights School. When we would come home for lunch or after school we would stop and chat with her and your Dad and maybe get some goodies! She was a very special lady and will certainly be missed.   8. My dear Annie, I’m so glad I got to spend time with you the last few times you were in the hospital. It was so wonderful to see you after these years that has passed so quickly. My heart ached for you when I saw you after you fell. I left your room and couldnt keep the tear from coming down my face as they are now. You will be in my heart till the day I die. I love you so much my Annie Bananie. I will charish the afgan you gave me forever and ever. Rest in peace I know your with our Savior.
