Anna von Bergen

Anna von Bergen, 95, of Weirton, passed away June 26, 2011 at the Wynngate, Weirton, WV. She was born February 2, 1913 in Clariton, Pa, a daughter of the late George and Mary Luczanich Kopa. She was also preceded in death by; her husband Erwin von Bergen, five brothers, John, Charles, George, Andrew and infant Michael Kopa. Anna was a supermarket clerk at the Food Giant in Tucson, Arizona. Her favorite hobby was work, work, and more work. She was a member of St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Weirton. Anna is survived by two brothers, Steve and Pat Kopa both of Weirton; sisters Elizabeth Allen of Weirton, Mary Boniey of Follansbee, WV and Sister Euphemia Kopa of Uniontown, PA. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. A Parastas service will be held Tuesday evening at 8:15PM. Blessing services will be held 10:15AM, Wednesday, in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45AM at St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. Reverend Father Edward Lucas will preside. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
