Anne Lalich

Anne Lalich, 96 of Weirton, WV died Saturday November 23, 2019. Born on November 4, 1923, in Weirton, WV, Ann was the last surviving child of the late William “Vajeo” and Milica Divich Lalich. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel “Doodles” and Sam Lalich, Milan “Zion” Dadasovich, sisters, Nadlie “Nedji” Fouty , Zora Lalich, and Mary Dadasovich and Sarah “Sikey” Baltich; nephews, Dr. William “Bill” Noble and John Dadasovich. Anne retired in 1985 after forty years as a tin flopper in the Weirton Steel Tin Mill. Prior to living at the Brightwood Nursing Home, Anne made her home with her sister Nedji, and her nephew Roy Lee Fouty, Jr. She will always be remembered for her kind, gentle, and generous nature. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Steubenville, OH, and the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. Anne will be remembered with love by her nephews, Roy L. and Jennifer Fouty, Jr. of Durham, NC, Dr. Dan Lalich, II of Wichita, KS, Robert “Moe” and George Dadasovich of Weirton, WV ; her nieces, Dawn (Baltich) Noble of Valley Grove, WV, Lynn Baltich of Pittsburgh, PA, and Darlene (Lalich) Gill of Madras, OR. Visitation will be Saturday November 30, 2019 at the Holy Resurrection Eastern Orthodox Church 528 N. 5th Street Steubenville, OH from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM. Rev Fr. Stefan Doric will preside. Interment will follow at Holy Resurrection Church Cemetery in Steubenville.
