Anne M. Johnson, 75, of Weirton, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 18, 1931 in Wilsonburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Bessie Lee Gerrard Garcia. Anne was also preceded in death by Delores J. Newbrough, James E. Newbrough, Sr. and James E. Newbrough, Jr. Anne was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, and Past President & Secretary of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Weirton Termite Baseball Association where she was honored as a life-time member. Anne’s survivors include her extended family Robert H. Newbrough, Sr., Robert H. Newbrough, Jr. and his wife Marcia, and their children Rachel Ohalek and Teddy Newbrough, Rosanne Morgan and her husband Jim, and son, Joshua Cassella, Jack Newbrough and his fiancé Debbie Cameron and children Anthony and Patrick, Eric Newbrough and cousins Nancy Smith and Toby Cottrill. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 10AM Thursday.
