His ready smile, his jovial laugh, his endless jokes, his kindness and generosity, his artistic talent, and his pizzelles are only a few of the things that I will treasure forever! He was fun and funny and embraced life with every part of his being. He was dear to me in so many ways and gave me memories to last a lifetime. 13. Of the many feasts and holiday reunions I experienced as a realative at my grandparents’ and uncle Tonys’ house , the dinner I remember & cherish most was late in my Dads’ life at the time I was in one of the crevisis of fall out from my Dads’(, tonys’ brother), family. My Dad and I were invited to dinner there, and when my Dad passed I can’t describe what that dinner ment to me. He also gave me a phone call in the bereavement time. I along with others enjoyed the Christmas décor and one Christmas my date and Istopped to say hello and we were invited in to refreshments and conversation . Coming into adult maturity while weathering my parents divorce, I wished the generation before me could have understood that the distractions and popular culture didn’t hold a candle to down to earth natural affection shown in that evening. Thank you Uncle Tony.
