Anthony Carpini, Jr. 37 of Weirton died Friday August 24, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. Anthony was born on June 27, 1964 in Weirton, WV, the son of Anthony and Helen (Oliver) Carpini, Sr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Jennie Oliver and Domenico and Rosa Carpini. He was employed with Weir Cove Taxi and was a carpenter with Maronda Homes in Oakdale, PA. Anthony served his country in the US Marine Corp and was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Weir High Class of 1982. In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by his fiancee, Tina Beadling of Weirton; two brothers, Dominic A. Carpini and Leslie Bacich of Follansbee, Joseph Carpini and his wife Tawnya of Weirton; two sisters; Angela Reinard and her husband Tim and Mary Lyons and her husband Gary all of Weirton. His best friend Charlie Clark of Weirton; his nephews, Robert A. Reinard of Savannah, GA, Christopher A. Reinard of Washington, D.C. and Matthew O. Lyons of Weirton; three nieces, Sara E. Lyons of Weirton and Casie N and Jodie C. Carpini both of Owing Mills, MD and his godfather, Vince Oliver, also survive. Visitation will be 1-3 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Interment will be in Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton with military services conducted by the Tri State Marine Corp, American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard and the VFW 2716 Firing Squad. A prayer service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday and a Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 7PM Sunday in the funeral home.
