Guestbook

  1. I went to many school grades with Barney and we were always good friends. He was a bright young man and he was as well liked as any friend i have ever had. My best wishes to the family and special prayers will be said for him.

  2. Betty & Family, Our prayers are with you at this very sad time. We will miss seeing Barny walking on Phillips St. & always stopping to talk. He would always asked how Jennifer was. God has called him home. He’s now in a better place & healthy. Thinking of you, Mike,Olivia, & Jennifer

  4. Aunt Betty and Cousins, My uncle Barney was a wonderful man. We always greeted each other with a hug, and I always enjoyed his company. Obviously, Mom and Tata loved him and respected him greatly. He was a great role model as he and Aunt Betty raised 5 super children. His children and grand children are blessed because of his influence and love for his family. Death is sometimes viewed as ‘The Great Intruder’ – Seems like there was some drifting apart between our families after mom’s death…Wish that wasn’t so. Let’s remember, though, death has no (eternal) victory over those who’s trust is in Christ Jesus. Heaven awaits those who love Jesus, and one day there will be a grand reunion! I love you all very much.

  5. Dear Aunt Lil and the Barnabei Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers.Even though your hearts are heavy and the days ahead unknown, remember the good times and the warm smile your brother and father shared with his family and friends. Let the angels surround you and guide you. Love, Rita

  6. Dear Aunt Betty and all my cousins: Toni and I were very saddened to hear of Uncle Barney’s passing. He was always such a loving man and I will always remember him with a smile on my face. Some of my fondest memories are of all the Chrismases we spent at your house when we were kids, and Uncle Barney’s love of Lupines. It seemed like he could eat a whole mason jar full of them. I will always cherish his memory. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers, now and always.

  7. Betty, Toni, Dave & Family: Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Mr. Barnabei was a quiet friendly man that always had a smile to share. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

  8. My deepest sorrow to all Barneys family it seems as I’ve known Barney forever and he was the most easy going person I’ve ever known. This planet of ours has lost a really good soul. Barney is right behind his Dad.

  10. Betty and Family, You know how much I loved Tony. He was always such a spirited guy, always ready with a story. When I read that his body has been donated to WVU Med. I wasn’t surprised. 14. Aunt Betty,David,Danny,Dennis,Donna and Dean…We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Barney’s passing…I will always miss his smile, funny stories and wonderful shrug of the shoulder (when he would wonder what else could go wrong, and be thankful because there could always be something worse)…He loved all of you, his family and especially, his grandchildren…Heaven has received another angel… Love to all.. Cathy, Richie, Brandi, Michael, Susan, Jason and Andrew Goysovich

It’s so hard to have the right words to say, because it doesn’t take the pain away. Just know that we are so glad to know you all & to have known Barney. I enjoyed listening to his stories. He will truly be missed. Take care & God Bless, Kim, Emmalee & Jim

  16. Betty and family; I will miss Barney very much. He was my “buddy”. I will miss seeing him at the auctions while you were at bingo and will miss seeing both of you in Eat & Park and waiting on you two. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless Barney.

  17. Dear Barnabei Family – I understand that your husband/father has donated his body to WV Medical School. My father, Stanley Tuchalski, also donated his in August 2006. He wanted his body shell to be of use after the soul went to heaven. At his age he could not donate skin, eyes nor organs. He donated the shell for education & research studies. We have just received his remains last month. I greatly support this type of use of an empty “shell” for you father will benefit many people doing this honorable donation. All the Tuchalski family send their prayers & sympathy. Mary Kay (Tuchalski) Smith

  18. Betty and Family, My condolences on your loss. Mr. B was always a friendly and wise-man, and I recall several of his funny stories (and nudging advice) – and I pass them along whenever I get the chance. God Bless Barney, and my thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
