Anthony Joseph "Joe" Thomaselli III, 49, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Weirton Medical Center. Born December 11, 1967 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Mary E. (Rodriguez) Thomaselli and the late Anthony Joseph "Tony" Thomselli II. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Anthony Joseph I and Elvera Thomaselli and Louis and Helen Rodriguez; mother in law Joyce Kuzma and his dog Bella. Joe was owner of Alpine Tree and Shrub. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing and fast cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother Mary Thomaselli; wife of 25 years Jodi (Kuzma) Thomaselli; son Anthony Thomaselli (Hannah Darabant); daughter Presley Thomaselli (Christian Truax); brothers Marco and Christopher Thomaselli; father in law James Kuzma, all of Weirton; nephews Luke Thomaselli and Garrett Bever; niece Lexi Bever and many aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Father Dennis Schuelkens Jr., will officiate. I’m sorry to here about Joey we were in the same grade together at St Paul’s he was always a fun kid to be with we were always talking about being Kiss fans and wanting to be rock stars when we were little. Haven’t seen him for sometime, once in awhile I would run into him at the school our daughters go to high school together but I always thought to myself that he never changed still looked the same as we were young. My deepest condolences to his family

  23. Mrs. Thomaselli, going to school with Joe at St. Paul’s and Madonna leaves me very sad to hear of his passing. He was always a good classmate and friend to my brother Tommie and kind to all of his friends. He was always a positive guy who tried his best to make his family proud.
