Anthony “Tony” Iaquinta, 76, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at his home. He was born April 3, 1944, in Weirton, a son of the late Samuel and Eleanor Rossi Iaquinta. He was also preceded in death by his with Kathleen Zodrow Iaquinta on October 29, 2001. Tony was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. A very hard-working, considerate man, he owned and operated a local auto body shop. He was an avid toy collector, his favorite being Matchbox cars. Although bull-headed at times, Tony often showed a caring side to his family and friends. He is survived by his brothers Sam (Rose) Iaquinta of Arizona and Tom Iaquinta of Florida and sisters Carol (Robert) Hawthorne of Pennsylvania, Elaine Richards of Tennessee, and Maryann O’Rourke of Weirton, and many nieces and nephews. The family’s request for cremation has been honored. Respecting Tony’s wishes, no memorial service will be conducted.
