Antonio Porco

Antonio Porco, 93 of Weirton died Tuesday December 11, 2001 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born on September 17, 1908 in Belmonte Calabro, Italy, the son of the late Matteo and Antonia Veltri Porco. He was also preceded in death by his wife Maria Veltri Porco on December 22, 1985, his stepmother Angela Porco, two brothers Joseph and Nunziato Porco . Antonio retired from Mackintosh – Hemphill in Midland Pa with 38 years of service. He was a member of the Saint Anthony Society and the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Surviving include his daughter Amelina (Emily) Ianni and her husband Pete of Weirton, WV; his 3 brothers Domenico and Francesco Porco of Steubenville, OH and Ernesto Porco of New Philadelphia, OH; his 4 sisters Maria Porco of Steubenville, OH, Rosina Coscarelli of Brazil, Innocenza (Nancy) Bruno of Weirton, WV and Ann McManus of Maine; his 2 granddaughters Maria and Joanna Ianni both of Weirton, WV Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
