Arthur D. Ryan

Arthur D. Ryan, 75, of Weirton, died August 31 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 15, 1926 in Smithfield, PA, a son the late C. Lloyd and Ethel Collier Ryan. He was also preceded in death by his brother, L. Wilson Ryan. Arthur was retired from Weirton Steel as a supervisor in the Stores Department. He was also a member of Colonial Baptist Church where he was a trustee. He is survived by his wife, June Harn Ryan at home, 3 daughters: Caren Miller and her husband Fred of New Cumberland, WV, Melinda Harms and Ruth Blake and her husband Terry both of Weirton, one sister, Doris Weaver of Long Beach, MS, and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV with Military Service conducted by American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard, V.F.W. #2716 Firng squad and Tri State Marine Corp.
