Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To Barbara’s family, Our hearts are filled with much sadness of Barb’s passing. We have so many memories of her as she was a dear friend & classmate. Barb never stopped smiling, always a positive attitude during the struggles with her health. She gave so much of her time & talent to SHM Parish. Eternal Rest grant unto Barb, oh Lord.

  2. My aunt wanted to return to her childhood home. She asked me to bring her there Sunday so she could watch the Steelers Game, her favorite NFL team. She was one to do for everyone and putting herself last. I love her deeply and will miss doing her nails on Saturdays, a ritual we have done for years. She always told me I missed my calling because when ever we had to go somewhere special I make sure her make up and hair were fixed the way she liked. I know she in a happy place now with her mom and dad and her oldest and youngest brother, and a great nephew. I look to all of them as my guardian angels and know they will be watching over all of us. Aunt Barb, I really miss you, God called you because he needed you for something, what it is I am not sure, but I know its something spectacular. Love and kisses from earth to heaven.

  3. Barb was one of a kind. I always remember her for organizing many family “gatherings” so all the cousins could get together when we were younger… First, second, and third cousins…. A difficult task with such a HUGE family. Thanks Barb for all that you did… Because of your dedication, all of the “cousins” would say say that we grew up a very close family with great memories!

  4. Barb, we will sure miss you and your smiling face at our family functions. You always had a kind word for everyone and would ALWAYS put others first. Now, when I hear a clap of thunder I will think of you. Cause, now I know the Angels are bowling in Heaven. RIP

  5. To Barbara’s Family: We will miss her greatly…especially during all the Sacred Heart of Mary activities…..she was always involved and very dependable … we are sure she is in heaven looking and watching over her family as she loved them dearly….. I especially remember Barb being in 3rd grade, when I was in 4th grade at Sacred Heart of Mary on Ave. F and they would have 2 grades in one classroom.. those were great days and a lot of memories. God bless and heaven gained another angel. Blessings, Penny & Larry Dotson

  6. Aunt Barb was, to me, the model of what a kind and generous human being ought to be. She was also the model of what a Christian life well lived looks like. Now free from disease and sickness, she has been welcomed into the Kingdom of God with open and loving arms. May we all be so fortunate. We will miss our friend.

  7. My thoughts and prayers to the family. I worked with Barb years ago and still remember her wonderful smile and kindness.
