Barbara P. Varner

Barbara P. Varner, 65 of Weirton died Sunday December 31, 2000 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV. She was born on April 15, 1935 in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Virgil and Mabel Carder Henthorn. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church . She is survived by her husband, Charles Varner of Weirton; a son Michael Shawn Varner and his wife Julie of Steubenville, OH;a daughter Beverly Garblik and her husband Michael of Dayton, OH; three sisters Betty Watson of Concord, NC, Mrs.Everett (Helen) Case of Kannapolis, NC and Mrs. David (Martha) Varney of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Jamie Swank of Middletown, OH and Valerie Garblik of Dayton, Ohio. Visitations will be 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with Rev Kregg F. Burris officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
