Benny Brown, 78, of Weirton, WV died Tuesday April 7, 2015, His wife was at his side. Born on February 26, 1937, in Colliers, WV, Benny was a son of the late Herbert B. and Bertha Lucille Reitter Brown. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie Blake Brown on July 3, 2005; his step sons, Norman Derby, and Vincent Palo, a brother, Donald Brown; and a sister, Shirley Wright; step grandson, Quinn Palo. After 33 years of service, Benny retired from Weirton Steel, where he was a motor inspector, in the Blooming Mill. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961 He is survived by his wife, Theresa Kukura Palo Brown , whom he married on April 4, 2015; stepson, Timothy Derby, Sr. (Sherry); Step daughters, MaryAnn Miller (Robert) and Lisa Palo all of Weirton, Elizabeth Flo Pribble of New Martinsville, WV; brothers, Roy Lee Brown of Colliers, WV and David Brown of Seattle, WA; step grandchildren, Andrea and Ryan Miller, Ashley and Dennis Six, TJ and Monica Derby, Bonnie (David) Steele, Jessica (Matt) Morris, Cindy (Rodney) Adams, Shannon (Johnny) Anderson, Norman and Nikki Derby; several step great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 12 noon on Friday. Interment will follow at New Cumberland Cemetery, with Military Honors Share tributes and memories at www.grecohertnick.com
