Bernice B. “Grace” Mankowski, 79, of Weirton, died Monday, August 9, 2004 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1925 in Farrell, PA, a daughter of the late Mike and Sophie (Charnopis) Brosky. She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Mankowski on June 24, 2003; and two sisters, Helen Brula and Jennie Spadifore.

Grace was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the E.T. Weir Club.

Grace is survived by two sons, Robert Mankowski and his wife Delores of NJ and Garry Mankowski of Georgia; one daughter, Linda Starr and her husband George; one brother, Frank Brosky; two sisters, Stephanie Nagy Kolin and Sarah Blasczak, all of Weirton; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Rev. Fr. Edmund Stabene will preside. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
