Betty Ann Burrough

Betty Ann Burrough, 84, of Weirton passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born October 17, 1934 in Steubenville, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Martha G. Barkhurst Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her son Steven an infant brother Charles. Betty worked as a switch board operator for Sears. She enjoyed being a homemaker, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Greg Burrough (late wife Susan Burrough) of Weirton; granddaughters Stacey (Arthur) Rodriguez of Weirton and Heather (Kenneth) Hayes of Wintersville; great grandchildren Nina (Ryan) Rodriguez-Lazear and Raegan and Waylon Hayes. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 PM at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday. Reverend Dr. Ed Rudiger will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery, Colliers.
